Youngset’s Youngsters program is led by Teachers Kate and Lindsay and offers a playful, welcoming environment designed for toddlers and their grown-ups to explore together.

Children are free to move, play, create, and follow their curiosity throughout the classroom while a parent or caregiver stays close by. Teachers help enrich the experience through thoughtfully prepared activities, songs, art, sensory play, and opportunities for movement and connection. The program gives young children space to build confidence, practice emerging social skills, and engage with the world around them through play—all alongside a trusted grown-up.

❋ When?

Tuesdays from 9:15-11:15 am, meeting once a week.

❋ Who is it for?

Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old (until eligible for Junior Class) and their parent or caregiver. Grown-ups stay and participate in class with their child.

❋ Who is teaching?

Youngsters is led by Teachers Kate and Lindsay, who create a warm, engaging environment for children and their grown-ups to learn and play together.

❋ How much does it cost?

$100/month

A Typical Day in the Youngsters Classroom

Arrive and free play.

9:15 am

Circle time. Children and grown-ups partake in a welcome and name song, movement or yoga, and simple social-emotional activities.

10:00-10:15 am

Child-led free play. A thoughtfully prepared environment offers a wide range of open-ended activities, including playdough, sensory exploration, art materials, books, and gross motor play. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices, experiment, problem-solve, and engage with materials at their own developmental pace.

10:15-10:45 am

Hand washing and snack.

10:45-11:00 am

Clean up and closing circle. Children and grown-ups sing a goodbye song.

11:00-11:15 am
